Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. Wie schmecken die gefriergetrockneten Erdbeerscheiben?

Wie frische Erdbeeren, nur sind sie deutlich knuspriger!

Kann ich die gefriergetrockneten Erdbeerscheiben selber machen?

Nein, denn unsere gefriergetrockneten Erdbeeren entstehen durch Sublimation. Darunter versteht man den Prozess, bei dem ein Stoff – in unserem Fall: Wasser – vom festen direkt in den gasförmigen Aggregatzustand übergeht, ohne zwischenzeitlich flüssig zu werden. Für uns heißt das, dass wir die frischen Beeren einfrieren und unter Vakuum setzen. That’s where the magic happens: Das gefrorene Wasser in den Erdbeerscheiben verdampft. Übrig bleiben (ein Großteil der) Nährstoffe, die Farbe und das Aroma der Beere, jedoch mit zusätzlichem Crunch und längerer Haltbarkeit. Das kann man so easy leider nicht zu Hause nachmachen, aber keine Sorge, wir haben die feinsten Erdbeeren ausgewählt, gefriergetrocknet und in der 350 g-Vorteilspackung für Dich abgepackt.

Sind gefriergetrocknete Erdbeerscheiben gesund?

Gesund ist vor allem eine ausgewogene und abwechslungsreiche Ernährung. Unsere gefriergetrockneten Erdbeerscheiben lassen sich in eine vollwertige Ernährungsweise integrieren, egal ob im Müsli, auf Pancakes oder als Snack.

Since our freeze-dried fruits are extremely similar to the original fruit - except that they are somewhat lacking in liquid - they are also perfectly suitable for consumption during pregnancy. In addition, our freeze-dried fruits are without any additives. So you can access without hesitation.

Can I pour hot water over KoRo's freeze-dried strawberry slices?

Sure - there are no limits for you! The best thing is to take your favorite cup, put 3-4 slices of strawberry in it and fill the whole thing with hot water. In the end you have a fruity, fresh fruit tea.

How do I store freeze-dried fruit?

Freeze-dried fruits should be stored in airtight packaging, which is why we deliver them in a resealable bag. This guarantees the long shelf life and intense flavor. Tip: If you store your freeze-dried fruits in the delivered bag, we recommend that you remove the air from the bag before closing it. Of course, you can also store the fruit in one of our stylish storage jars.

What can I use the freeze-dried strawberries for?

You can use our freeze-dried strawberry slices for baking, as a topping or as a fruit tea. In muesli, the crunchy fruits also offer you an extra crunch. But also decoratively a real must-have: a few strawberries in your favorite drink and you have not only a visual upgrade - but also a real taste explosion.
