The jackfruit is really exotic. In Germany, it is difficult to get really ripe fruit. That is why we are glad to be able to offer this giant fruit in dried form. Their pleasant fruity smell and sweet taste make them a fruit that can be used in many ways and also tastes great pure as a snack. Fun fact: because of its fibrous consistency, jackfruit has recently been used by vegetarians and vegans as a vegetable meat. However, only the unripe fruits are suitable as a meat substitute. These are pickled in brine and then processed into meat substitutes in Western countries. Since the unripe and fibrous flesh has hardly any flavor of its own, it can be marinated as desired.
Our jackfruit tastes great pure as a snack or cut into small pieces in your muesli and porridge. In addition, it gives many dishes an exotic and fruity note and is therefore also suitable for salty and savory dishes, such as curries, salads or stir-fries.

Unsere getrocknete Jackfrucht kommt ohne Zuckerzusatz aus, denn sie enthält schon von Natur aus Zucker. Wir verzichten zudem auf Farb-, Aroma- und Konservierungsstoffe. Außerdem besitzt unsere getrocknete Bio-Jackfrucht einen hohen Ballaststoffgehalt (15 g/100 g), kommt aus 100 % biologischem Anbau und versorgt Dich direkt für längere Zeit mit fruchtigen Snacks in Form des 500 g-Vorteilpacks.
Unsere getrocknete Jackfrucht lagerst Du am besten an einem lichtgeschützten, kühlen und trockenen Ort. So ist sie in der ungeöffneten Originalverpackung mindestens 15 Monate haltbar.
Nein, keine Sorge, die Jackfrucht und die Stinkfrucht sind nicht die gleiche Frucht. Der Geruch und der Geschmack der Jackfrucht sind fruchtig und süß und nicht mit der Stinkfrucht, auch Durian genannt, vergleichbar.
Ja, unsere getrocknete Jackfrucht stammt zu 100 % aus biologischem Anbau.
Die in tropischen Ländern beheimatete Frucht mit der grünen bis gelben, noppenbesetzten Schale wird im reifen Zustand bis zu 50 cm lang und 30 kg schwer. Dann wird die Jackfrucht geerntet, indem sie vom Baum abgeschnitten und zerteilt wird. Es erfolgt ein schonender Trocknungsprozess, um der Frucht das Wasser zu entziehen und ihre Haltbarkeit zu verlängern.
