Spelt is considered as prototype of wheat, and was cultivated in Asia already a thousand years ago. After being almost replaced by its relative wheat throughout the 20th century, in the last recent years spelt and its benefits has been increasingly rediscovered. Spelt stands out not only as rich ingredient in breads, pasta and patties, but also in puffed form; added to your daily porridge or smoothie bowl, it makes quite an impression!

Our spelt is grown in the EU, then processed in Poland and also puffed there.

Does the puffed spelt have a lot of protein?

Our spelt pops are a source of protein with 14 grams and also high in fiber. So add them to your next muesli!

Yes, our puffed spelt comes without additional refined sugar or honey. Spelt already contains some sugar naturally and can always be topped with agave syrup or another sugar alternative of your choice, should you want it sweeter.
